What You’ll Need:

Step 1: Prep pumpkin
Use a knife to cut a circle around the top of the pumpkin, then use a spoon to scrape out the seeds. When the pumpkin is clean, cut small pieces of floral foam and set inside the pumpkin; cut these so they’re shorter than the height of the pumpkin. Repeat this process for each pumpkin you want to make. While preparing the pumpkins, keep in mind that the size of the holes will determine how many flowers you’ll be able to fit in each one.
Step 2: Add flowers
Start with a grocery store bouquet that matches your existing table decor. We picked a bouquet with traditional reds and oranges, and added bright pops of green and yellow. Trim the stems of each bloom and use the floral foam to style the arrangement. Fill the pumpkin with water when you’re finished adding flowers.
Step 3: Personalize
Grab a package of mini chalkboards (usually available at a crafts store) and use chalk or a chalk marker to add each guest’s name to a board. Wrap the base of each board with floral wire and insert wire into the foam. Get more inspiration for fall table settings.
